Scaling Solutions

If we are to achieve global development goals, we need to scale what we know works and to continually look for new solutions to intractable, complex and emerging challenges.

We take a systems approach to scale-up, ensuring strategies are politically informed, reflect local priorities and ensure effective cross-sectoral collaboration.

Our scale-up work places a strong emphasis on continuous learning and adaptation, helping to build the evidence base for effective approaches across the health sector.

We work in variety of settings to:

• Provide technical assistance to national and sub-national governments to identify, implement and evaluate high-impact, evidence-based interventions and facilitate peer learning, adaptation and replication to take these to scale.
• Support institutionalisation of proven, cost-effective models through evidence-based advocacy, use of data for decision-making and technical support to ensure they are reflected in policies, plans and budgets.
• Design, deliver and scale-up proven innovations, ensuring they are sustained through local institutions in the public and private sector.
• Deliver bespoke technical support and mentoring to global innovators, from initial concept design and strategy, to monitoring, evidence and learning, to business development and scaling pathways.
