Assistant Director of Design and Innovation
Jo provides technical expertise across sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender, research and evaluation (with a particular interest in participatory methods), social and behaviour change, and business and strategy development. She currently provides technical support to The Girl Generation: Support to the Africa-led Movement to End Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) programme, and a learning platform for the Options for Pregnancy Termination Innovation (OPTions) Initiative. Jo has worked across a range of other Options programmes, including Safire (which supported girls’ choices to reduce unsafe abortion) and various maternal and child health initiatives. Jo has a PhD in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and is based in the UK.
