DESIP: Reproductive health policy documents for Kenya's Ministry of Health

Options supported Kenya's Ministry of Health to produce four reproductive health policy documents

In June 2022, Kenya’s Ministry of Health, through its Division of Reproductive and Maternal Health, launched 14 guiding policies and strategies to improve the country’s quality of maternal and newborn health services. These documents aim to standardise quality of care at the national and sub-national level, and provide a roadmap for service providers at all levels to achieve the highest standard of healthcare.

Options’ Delivering Sustainable and Equitable Increases in Family Planning in Kenya (DESIP) programme supported the Ministry of Health to develop and launch four of these documents.
