Regional Director for East and Southern Africa
Kenneth Macharia is Regional Director for East and Southern Africa based out of the regional hub in Nairobi, Kenya. In this role, he is responsible for leadership, oversight, and business growth for the organisation. Kenneth spearheads collaborative efforts with governments, NGO’s, Private Sector, and funding agencies to design and implement development programmes that are rooted in local context and informed by lived experiences.
Kenneth has extensive experience working in the UK and Africa where he has been involved in governance and leadership of high performing teams in international development, impact investment, disaster risk reduction and humanitarianism, and private sectors. He holds an MBA in international business administration from the University of Glamorgan, UK.
