Vivian Fiscian

Governance and Leadership Advisor, Ghana Somubi Dwumadie

Vivian F. Sarpomaa Fiscian is a development sociologist with experience in delivering education, and gender and social inclusion projects. Her specialism lies in multi-disciplinary governance, policy, and capacity building. She has expertise in programme delivery, including integrating gender into programme planning and design, using results-based mixed methodologies.

Vivian is currently the Governance and Leadership Advisor for Ghana Somubi Dwumadie. She provides disability and mental health-focused technical assistance to the Government of Ghana, and coordinates stakeholder relationships across a variety of government sector ministries and non-governmental institutions such as CSOs and development partners. Vivian brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of processes and hierarchies across Government.

Vivian has practical experience in strategic leadership, governance and building relationships with key stakeholders. She has worked for several international consultancies across Africa, and for funders including USAID and UK Aid. Vivian has also undertaken research working with teams from University of Pennsylvania, University of Sussex, and University of Cape Coast, with published publications.
