Sebastiana A. Etzo (PhD) is a social scientist with expertise in health system strengthening and governance, focusing on women’s health and rights, healthy cities and leveraging knowledge, learning and innovations to inform strategies and programmes.

Sebastiana is trained in qualitative research methods and enjoys working across different sectors and disciplines to explore the root causes of health inequities and co-create new solutions.

Her experience is primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, but throughout her professional career, she has provided technical support to countries in Southeast Asia. As a consultant, she leads the research and learning agenda for the Women Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) programme.
