Global Health Strategist
Alison is a global health strategist, skilled in the design, delivery and leadership of health and nutrition systems strengthening programmes in South Asia and Africa. She has lived in India and Nepal, leading technical assistance (TA) programmes for Options, funded by UK aid. Alison was responsible for the TA strategy and demonstrating results to the governments and funder, which include increased access to emergency obstetric care in Nepal and state-wide social protection for maternal and early childcare in Odisha, India.
In her current role based in London, Alison applies her TA experience to ensure quality delivery, use and generation of evidence, adaptive programming, and learning within and between Options’-led programmes. Systems approaches to increase equitable access to maternal and newborn care and nutrition interventions remain the cornerstone of Alison’s work.
