Options’ has been selected to be one of twelve new Frontier Tech Pioneers selected by the Frontiers Technology Hub. Our innovation to use drones to fly live-saving medicines and vaccines over mountains to the hardest to reach communities in Nepal was chosen among 110 applications from 33 different countries across all six major continents.
Frontier Technology Livestreaming programme is helping the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) apply frontier technologies to the biggest challenges in development. The programme works with FCDO staff around the world to test and scale technology with the potential for positive social impact.
Pilot teams will receive an initial £75,000 in funding, with potential for another £50,000 for high-performing pilots. They will also access matchmaking opportunities with specialised technologists, be supported to work in lean and agile ways and livestream what learn along the way.
