A series of policy briefs that make the case for investing in family planning at county level in Kenya

As part of our support to strengthen government ownership at the county level in Kenya, Options developed a series of policy briefs that make the case for investing in family planning, setting out why it is a ‘best-buy’ for county governments.

Each brief presents the evidence of why investing in family planning will lead to health benefits, in terms of estimated maternal and child lives saved, and socio economic gains through the demographic dividend. Policy and programme recommendations are made to relevant stakeholders in each of the learning lab counties.
