Wina’s interest in sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) began in Malawi when she started exploring the injustices related to gender-based violence.
She pursued my MSc at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in Sexual and reproductive health research. Since then, she has continued working on SRHR focused primarily on policy development and reforms, health systems strengthening and advocacy. More recently, she has been working on more trickier issues including sexual violence, abortion and female genital mutilation and cutting.
She worked for Options from 2014 to 2022, and spent one year working on a service delivery project for MSI Malawi from 2022 to 2023.
