Working in Partnership in Kenya

As we seek to ensure our programmes deliver global impact, partnerships remain an integral part of our work.

23 July 2019

Our main goal is to transform the health of women and children by ensuring they have access to quality and affordable health care services, so that no one is left behind. But we can’t achieve this alone.

Earlier this month, we brought together technical experts from across Kenya for our first consultant breakfast. It was a great opportunity for us to meet with consultants who share our goal of transforming health, and are interested in working with Options.

We recognise that improvements in health cannot be achieved in isolation. We bring together organisations and individuals with a diverse range of skills and expertise needed to achieve results. We develop open, collaborative and flexible partnerships that put transparency and inclusivity at the heart of programme delivery. And we draw extensively on national expertise by ensuring local partners play a leading role in the delivery of our programmes.

The Nairobi breakfast meeting provided us with the opportunity to share more about our strategy and vision for engagement in Kenya with a selected pool of experts. Our team presented information on each of our programmes and there was time to engage with the programme teams during a vibrant networking session.

We would like to thank all those who attended. We really value the relationship we have with current consultants and look forward to widening our network to continue to deliver the high quality programmes we are known for.
