Options appoints new Managing Director

Options today announced the appointment of James Harcourt as its new Managing Director.

James previously was Vice President for Partnerships and Philanthropy at MSI Reproductive Choices, which he re-joined in 2019 after a period in the Leadership Team at The National Lottery Community Fund. Prior to this, he spent 14 years at MSI in a variety of increasingly senior roles, including Vice President for Partnerships and Philanthrophy and Director of USAID programmes. He brings a wealth of international development, programmatic, technical and leadership experience to the role.

Announcing the appointment, Chair of Options’ board, John Sayers, said:

“I am delighted to welcome James Harcourt as the new Managing Director of Options taking over from Jo Elms who has recently retired. James brings to Options a wealth of experience within our sector in his previous roles within MSI and The National Lottery Community Fund.”
