Options at the 4GAMECHANGERS conference in Vienna

We are excited to be part of the 4GAMECHANGERS festival  in Vienna on 16 May 2024.

Dr Leyla Sirad Hussein Gikandi OBE,  Global Advocacy Director and Deputy Team Leader of The Girl Generation: Support to the Africa-Led Movement to End Female Genital Mutilation to discuss the importance of investing in African girls with Gambia’s first female mayor Roheyatou Lowe, Franz Schausberger from Institute of the Regions of Europe (IRE), Raffaela Schaidreiter from ORF and the Austrian Development Agency (Austrian Broadcasting Agency).

During the panel, Leyla stressed that statistically, the African girl child is the most marginalised and at risk, and therefore urged European partners to invest in African women and girls.
