Qualitative Research on Dual Protection - Targeting Adolescents in Dar Es Salaam

PEER investigated urban adolescents’ sexual and reproductive health practices and perceptions of dual protection strategies to prevent pregnancy and STIs, including HIV, among in-school adolescent girls and boys in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The findings are being used to inform the national Adolescent Technical Working Group (ATWG) in its work on developing appropriate reproductive and sexual health, family planning and HIV prevention initiatives, materials and policies.
