Dr Tim Black, CBE MBBS MRCP DTM&H MPH
Chair
Tim Black is the founder and former Chief Executive of Marie Stopes International, the leading family planning charity providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services, including HIV & AIDS in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia. In 1992, Dr Black founded Options as a subsidiary of Marie Stopes International. He also co-founded Population Services International. Dr Black is a now a consultant and advisor worldwide and reproductive health and stocial marketing programmes.
 
Philip D Harvey
Philip Harvey is the president of DKT International which he founded in 1989. He also co-founded Marie Stopes International and Population Services International (with Dr Tim Black). Mr Harvey has been championing the benefits of social marketing for over three decades. Earlier in his career, he served as deputy director of CARE's programme in India.
 
Timothy M Rutter, FRCS
Timothy Rutter practiced as an obstetrician and gynaecologist for over 25 years. He has in-depth knowledge of the international context, having occupied senior medical positions with the Government of Thailand, the Canadian Government and Christian Aid. He was appointed Executive Director at the Transnational Birth Control Programme in 1973. In addition to his professional work, Mr Rutter has undertaken post-graduate specialisations in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at St George’s Hospital Medical School and as Gynaecology and Obstetrics Senior House Officer at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital. He has also held lectureships at four leading research institutions, notably Universidad de Cadiz and Universidad Autonamia de Barcelona.
