In August 2008, Options UK were commissioned by the Seaview Project, and supported by Hastings and Rother PCT and Hastings Borough Council, to undertake a health needs assessment of the homeless and vulnerably housed (HVH) in the Hastings and St Leonards area. We undertook a programme of engagement work with homeless and HVH which involved 38 HVH people in one-to-one sessions and focus groups and 24 one-to-one interviews took place with staff and practitioners. Prison leavers and HVH people with alcohol or drugs mis-use problems were also included in the engagement programme. |
